A Space to Make Sense of Change
Therapy can offer a calm, compassionate space to talk about what has changed and what it means for you. We can explore the emotional impact of illness, injury, loss or major change, without rushing you to feel positive or “move on”.
Together, we can make room for what has happened, consider who you are becoming now, and gently explore how you might find your way in this new reality.

LIFE CHANGES
When life changes everything
Life-changing illness or injury, chronic illness, redundancy, divorce, bereavement or other unexpected events can change far more than your circumstances. They can affect your relationships, your confidence, your sense of self and the future you once imagined.
You may feel as though you are trying to adjust to a life you did not choose. Perhaps other people expect you to be “back to normal”, while inside you are still processing what has happened. There may be grief, anger, fear, loneliness or uncertainty alongside the practical changes you are managing.
I know how deeply life-changing events can affect every part of you. I get it because I've lived it. Together, we'll process what happened, who you are becoming now, and help you find your way in this new reality.

You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
You do not need to have the right words, a clear plan or a particular goal before starting counselling. You can come exactly as you are.
I offer counselling in Prittlewell, Southend-on-Sea, and online. Get in touch to arrange an initial conversation and see whether working together feels right for you.
